The most talked about Bride and Groom in Philly – Lisa White and Paul Getz

Yes, Tim McGraw really did crash their wedding! But before we get to that…. Lisa and her mom, Deb, came to my studio in July 2015 with one thing in mind for Lisa and Paul’s wedding invitations… elegance, glamour and a little bit of “bling.” Lisa and Paul were getting married in August 2016 at one of Philly’s most sought after venues, Vie, owned by Cescaphe Event Group. Lisa is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most appreciative brides I have ever met. She was comfortable and clear with her vision but also open to ideas. After months of discussion and design, Lisa, Deb and I designed two layer wedding invitation nestled in a custom horizontal bottom pocket wedding invitation with a laser cut flap. We opted for luscious cream and navy papers, as well as navy and cream inks to pull in her wedding colors. Lisa’s wedding gown was dripping with lace and crystals. If the ceremony and reception are in the same location, include “reception to follow” or similar language. If you are not including reception information on the invitation, you may also include a dress code such as “black tie” or “black tie invited” at the bottom right corner. Do not include a wedding website or wedding registry on the invitation. Do not include response information such as a response URL, phone number, or email address. The Reception Card If your reception is being held at a different location than the ceremony, then include a reception card. The reception card contains the reception location and reception start time. If you are having a cocktail hour, then use the start of the cocktail hour as your reception start time. You should also provide the address of the reception. If you are not including reception information on the invitation, and therefore you did not include dress code on the invitation, you might also include that on the reception card on the bottom right corner. It is acceptable to include your wedding website on the reception card. You may also include that transportation between the ceremony and/or designated...
